All You Need To Know About Supreme Leader Snoke Who’s the Lord

The Star Wars universe follows the same rules as our universe. As the bad dominates, so does the good prevails. Every era of Star Wars has Jedis fighting for peace and harmony. At the same time, the Sith lords use the same abilities to achieve their evil intentions. Now we will discuss about Supreme Leader Snoke.

After the rise of the New Republic, we all believed the Dark Side users had gone extinct. But, the sequel trilogy presents us with another Sith lord, Snoke. The movies did not uncover enough details about this character. Snoke was a mysterious character. He died in the second movie of the sequels without getting enough screen time.

So, who is Snoke? How powerful was Snoke? And, what was the point of Snoke if he died like an unnecessary character? Let’s dive into the knowledge of this character.

Who is Snoke?

Snoke appeared as a Sith Lord in the sequel series who was continuing the mission of Darth Sidious’s Death Star. He took Kylo Ren as an apprentice to carry out his mission. He barely showed up in the first movie and died in the second one at the hands of his apprentice.

The third movie finally explained a little bit more about Snoke’s identity. We saw similar Clones when Kylo Ren searched for the real Dark Side user manipulating the things.

Supreme Leader Snoke Origin

Snoke was a strandcast male created by Darth Sidious when he was an emperor. He was merely a puppet, developed to carry the Sith Lord’s missions. We know Snoke’s face looked damaged but it was actually an incomplete strandcast.

As we know, Palpatine survived somehow and appeared in the third sequel movie. He told Kylo Ren that Snoke was a failed experiment. Sidious’s body had damaged a lot when Darth Vader threw him down in an attempt to kill him. Since Sidious needed time to recover, he used Snoke as a puppet for his plans. He and his Dark Side cult was also making more clones when Kylo Ren found him.we learned much about Supreme Leader Snoke but now we will learn more about Supreme Leader Snoke.

Is Snoke a Clone or a Strandcast?

Many of you may have been confused about the difference between a strandcast and a clone. What is the difference? A clone is an identical replica as we know the clone army looked similar to Jango Fett. But, a strandcast is a genetically developed human or a clone with various changes.

Darth Sidious created Snoke with his own DNA. So, he was a Strandcast who lived a life like humans. He was born like a normal human. He spent his childhood and youth until Palpatine began to manipulate him for his plans.

What Was the Point of Snoke?

We know that Snoke was a powerful creature. So, was he just a strandcast who Palpatine made to work on the First Order? Or is there more to Snoke? What was the point of Snoke?

Well, one of the main reasons Palpatine used Snoke was to get a powerful apprentice. After Darth Vader died, Sidious needed an apprentice to continue to “Rule of the two.” So, he used Snoke to find his apprentice.

Snoke used the Dark Force to lure Kylo Ren to the Dark Side when he was a Jedi. Kylo Ren used to say in his Jedi times that the whispers wouldn’t leave him alone. He also constantly worked to dent his relationship with his uncle, Luke. Not just that, the Dark Force even forced Ren to kill his father, Han Solo.

Snoke’s true intention was to expose Kylo Ren to the true nature of the Dark Side. Even after Kylo Ren became a Sith lord, he was reluctant to embrace the Dark Side fully. Of course, Palpatine was the one manipulating everything from the shadows.

However, it was one of the main missions. Snoke also played an important role in the creation of the First Order. He completed the Death Star project and even wiped out many planets that did not submit to him. Snoke was an important character who acted as a power until Darth Sidious rose again.

How Powerful was Snoke?

The answer would depend on the context of the question. If you are asking if he was powerful as a Sith Lord? Then Yes! He was a very powerful Dark Force user. He ran the entire Empire, which was impossible for a normal man to run.

Apart from his Force abilities, he was not powerful because he was a Strandcast. Most Force-users have supernatural strength and quick reflexes. But, Snoke was barely able to walk. He was a failed experiment, as Sidious said. He never used a lightsaber because he did not know how to. Or, he was not just physically good enough for that.

Snoke is Plagueis?

Before the third movie of the sequels, fans predicted that Snoke was actually Plagueis. But, who is Plagueis? Darth Plagueis was the Master of Darth Sidious. He was considered the wisest Sith Lord of all. Darth Sidious used to call him “Plagueis the Wise.” He created the entire plan of the Droid Army, Clone Army, and Order 66 in the Old Republic.

Before Plagueis could execute Order 66, his apprentice, Darth Sidious, killed him in his sleep and became the Dark Lord of the Sith.

People came up with the theory that Plagueis did not die. They said that Snoke is Plagueis who survived somehow or resurrected. This theory created hype for a while but was not true. The third sequel movie, “Rise of the Skywalker.” dumped this theory. It was revealed that Snoke is a strandcast.

Grogu and Snoke. What’s the Relation?

Despite all the information we discussed, Snoke is still a mystery character. But, the Mandalorian season 3 may uncover more about Snoke. The Mandalorian season 3 presented Grogu and Snoke in the same cover picture. But why? What is the relation?

Actually, we already have some hints from season 2 of the Mandalorian series. This series is set after the fall of the Empire. It was the time when Snoke was born.

As we know, Moff Gideon kidnapped Grogu because he thought he was a weapon. It was not explained what they were going to do with him. But, Moff Gideon said that he had taken the blood samples already. But, what for?

Yes! You are thinking right. Snoke was possibly created with Grogu’s DNA or a mixture of both Grogu and Palpatine. Grogu was a gifted Force-sensitive creature, the last of his kind. This theory might be true considering how sensible it is and how the timelines are perfectly understandable.

Only the time will tell if Grogu and Snoke really share the same genes. So, let’s just wait for next season to find out.
