The biggest complaint people have with Neopixel blades is that they are expensive to repair or replace. You should be fine if you use them against other lightsabers, but you may want to refrain from smashing them against steel or rocks

Force-users in S-T Wars do not need to worry about choosing a Neopixel vs a standard blade. That is because their weapons are powered by kyber crystals that are attuned to the Force. These crystals channel the energy coursing through the hilt, creating a hot beam of plasma that can cut through steel.

Today, there are no heated plasma lightsabers on the market. But we may be able to have real lightsaber battles one day. Hacksmith has already invented a sword of superheated plasma that operates similarly to the first primitive lightsabers used with power packs early on in S-T Wars history.
