What makes a lightsaber Neopixel is the way the blade is constructed. Typical lightsaber blades simply refract the light emitted from the hilt itself. Neopixel blades use a strip of powerful LED lights that go along the blade itself, making it brighter and more radiant.

Neopixel lightsabers are truly reserved for the most elite of Jedi Knights. If you wield a Neopixel blade, it will glow with greater fervor than the weapon your opponent uses, and it can be built with more diverse sound effects. It can even deflect blaster bolts.
